RTX is a provider of SkillBridge Fellowship opportunities for transitioning service members to gain an in-depth understanding of the aerospace and defense business from some of the most respected leaders and engineers in the industry. SkillBridge fellows will not be eligible for any compensation during their fellowship as they will continue to receive all military pay and benefits. Upon successful completion of this fellowship you will be well prepared and encouraged to apply for open positions listed on our careers page.

To be eligible for a SkillBridge you must meet the following requirements:

• Must be on Active-Duty orders in the U.S. Armed Forces

• Must be eligible toparticipateper DoD Instruction 1322.29.

• Must have all TAP and transition requirements completed prior to the start date.

• Must receive approval from Unit Commander or O4 in the chain of command.

What You Will Do:

Training & mentorship opportunities include but are not limited to:

Responsibilities: Support and lead cross-functional teams focused on identifying containing and resolving data integrity issues affecting F135 fleet readiness airworthiness and flight safety.

Expectations of the Role: Apply systems-level thinking root cause analysis and technical leadership to investigate issues determine corrective actions and support sustainable solutions.

Leadership & Collaboration: Work across engineering quality logistics sustainment program leadership and government partners including the F-35 Joint Program Office.

Communication: Support issue-status reporting technical findings metrics corrective-action plans and stakeholder briefings.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Bachelors degree 10 years of experience in engineering project/program management operations or supply chain/logistics or an Advanced degree with 7 years of experience

• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Masters degree in Engineering Human Factors Business or Management

• Experience within Pratt & Whitney Military Engines organizational structures

• Experience with PowerBI PowerAutomate SharePoint
  ERP/CMMS data analysis experience

• AGILE project management experience

• Active Security Clearance
