Site Director Castro Valley, CA

Hours: Mon to Fri and no weekends!

Pay: $30 - 33 per hour depending on experience

AlphaBEST Education provides extended day summer and enrichment programs that are designed to inspire and engage students while they discover and learn beyond the school day in a fun safe environment.

As an AlphaBEST Site Director youll lead a meaningful after-school program that helps kids learn grow and thrive.

Requirements:

Education & Experience (Meet one of the following paths)

• High School Pathway: High School Diploma/GED 15 semester college units (including 3 units in Administration/Staff Relations and 3 units in ECE/Child Development/School-Age courses) 4 years of teaching experience in a licensed child care center.
• Associate Degree Pathway: AA/AS in ECE Child Development or a related field (including 3 units in Administration/Staff Relations) 2 years of licensed child care teaching experience.
• Bachelors Degree Pathway: BA/BS in ECE Child Development or a related field (including 3 units in Administration/Staff Relations) 1 year of licensed child care teaching experience.
• Permit Pathway: Valid California Child Development Site Supervisor or Program Director Permit issued by the CTC.

Mandatory Health Training & Clearances

• Training: Completion of 16 hours of Health and Safety Training including Pediatric First Aid/CPR preventive health practices and mandated reporter training.
• Clearances: Must pass Live Scan criminal background checks and Child Abuse Central Index clearance prior to starting on-site work
