Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Single Hand Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate must be proficient in Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) and capable of passing a 6G welding test. This position requires expertise in welding pipes in all
positions and ensuring high-quality structurally sound welds

Requirements
Must pass a 6G SMAW welding test prior to employment
Minimum 3 years of welding experience (pipe welding preferred)
Proficiency in welding techniques including stick welding (SMAW). (TGAW would be
a plus).
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Must have or be willing to test for necessary welding certifications as required
Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions if required

Job Responsibilities
Perform SMAW welding on various materials primarily carbon pipe welding in the
6G position. Stainless Steel TGAW would be a plus.
Read and interpret blueprints technical drawings and welding procedures
Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and company policies
Inspect and test welds to maintain quality control
Operate welding and cutting equipment safely and effectively
Work in a variety of environments including cold weather confined spaces or
elevated positions.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects efficiently.
Knowledge & Skill
Previous experience in an industrial construction or manufacturing setting
Additional certifications in SMAW GTAW GMAW or FCAW welding processes
Knowledge of safety regulations and welding codes (e.g. AWS ASME)
$38 - $42 an hour
Schedule: Monday Friday 7:00 3:30 with option for overtime
