SHSW Program Assistant

Scope of Responsibility
The School of Health Sciences and Wellness (SHSW) is hiring program assistants who are responsible for a wide variety of administrative duties that directly support the operational management of 6 undergraduate programs and 6 graduate programs.

Specific Duties

• Administrative tasks: filing copying scanning data entry email correspondence file management.
• Program specific support led by undergraduate program directors.
• Maintain a UWSP staff email account.
• Organizing program supplies.
  

Skills/Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint Word Excel Outlook & Canvas).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn.
• Adaptability.
• Critical thinking.
• Confidentiality compliance (HIPAA FERPA)
• GA level work only: completion of bachelors degree and enrolled in a SHSW graduate program.
  

Qualifications and Compensation
To qualify for this position applicants must be in good academic standing with the University. The position requires the ability to work approximately 10-20 hours per week during the semester. Winterim hours may also be available but are not guaranteed. Majority of scheduled hours fall between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. (Monday through Friday) with occasional Saturday hours as needed. Hourly rate range: $12 16.95/hour.
