Summary of the position:

Diagnose repair or rebuild compressors engines accessory drives oil and water pumps and other related equipment. The candidate will need to be a mechanically inclined motivated and dependable individual.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Diagnose test and perform repairs including complete overhauls on equipment to get it ready for service in the field.

• Order parts for repairs and machine some parts to correct specifications. Consult with field staff and assist in diagnosing needed repairs

• Maintain work area and equipment in clean safe condition

• Job responsibilities may be altered by the Field Service Manager as customer and/or company requirements change.

Education:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Related industry experience may be considered in lieu of education requirements)

• Associate degree a plus

• Technical Trade School a plus

Professional experience:

• Compressor preventative maintenance experience preferred

• Experience with rotary screw Oil Free Compressors a plus

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Must be able to engage and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization

• Strong grasp of Microsoft office required

• Ability to read and understand schematics

• Ability to work independently or on a team
