General Summary:
Under general supervision distributes equipment materials and supplies received.
Responsibilities:
Events:
- process requests deliver and pick-up tables and chairs as requested.
Surplus property:
- Pick up as needed from campus; coordinate online auction.
- Work with purchasing and facilities on project cleanups and surplus pickups.
- Coordinates all service requests across campus for tables and chairs surplus pickup and office moves through the EMS system.
Freight:
- Process all incoming and outgoing freight for the university and delivering to departments using appropriate delivery equipment and respond to customer related customer inquiries.
Recycling:
- Swap bins out as requested.
- Work with vendors on as needed basis and act as liaison between vendors and campus.
- Process carrier invoices including FedEx and UPS and bill charges back to the departments.
- File freight claims on an as needed basis.
- Ship out packages as needed through couriers.
- Assist with student packages as necessary.
- Maintains 100% compliance with timely completion of required System University and job-specific online training courses.

Necessary Qualifications:
- High school graduate or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Four (4) years of related experience in shipping and receiving.
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
- Strong computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree.
- Six (6) years of related experience.
- Forklift experience.
