Job Summary

Shift: Nights 7:00PM to 7:00AM

Pay: $22.09/hr plus $2/hr shift differential 

Are you an organized detail-oriented logistics professional looking to join a high-performing team Avery Dennison is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator in Painesville OH! In this role you will manage daily shipping receiving freight coordination and inventory to keep our operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Freight & Dock Operations: Arrange freight pick-ups load/unload trucks and coordinate dock activities for incoming stock scrap and parcel deliveries.

  • Shipping & Receiving: Inspect incoming raw materials process receipts in Oracle tag inventory and prepare shipping documents (BOLs packing lists commercial invoices).

  • Inventory Control: Perform audits enforce FIFO procedures and resolve stock discrepancies to maintain accurate digital and physical records.

  • Collaboration: Partner with Customer Service Supply Chain and carriers to ensure on-time customer deliveries.


Qualifications :

  • High School Diploma/GED or 3 years of relevant manufacturing/logistics experience.

  • Tow motor (forklift) certification required; DOT/Hazmat preferred.

  • Computer proficiency (Oracle ERP preferred MS Office).

  • Strong attention to detail organization and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently handle shifting priorities and work overtime as needed.
