Position Summary

The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for daily shipping activities. This role works closely with warehouse production customer service and logistics.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and process shipping documents including bills of lading packing slips and shipping labels.
• Verify shipping quantities product information and customer orders for accuracy.
• Maintain shipping records and update logistics systems with shipment details.
• Ensure compliance with company policies safety standards and transportation regulations.
• Lead shipping staff in daily tasks.
• Assist with inventory control and reconciliation as it relates to shipping activities.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• 5 years of experience in shipping logistics warehouse operations or supply chain coordination.
• Knowledge of shipping procedures carrier services and transportation documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with international shipping and customs documentation.
• Knowledge of DOT OSHA and transportation regulations.
• Forklift experience (5 years).
• Bilingual in English and Spanish

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand walk and move throughout a warehouse or distribution center environment.
• Occasionally lift and carry up to 25-50 pounds.
• Ability to use computers and office equipment for extended periods.
• Ability to work in hot and cold temperatures.

Reporting Structure

Reports to Shipping and Receiving Manager

Hours: M-F 6AM-4PM
