Position Summary
The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for daily shipping activities. This role works closely with warehouse production customer service and logistics.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and process shipping documents including bills of lading packing slips and shipping labels.
- Verify shipping quantities product information and customer orders for accuracy.
- Maintain shipping records and update logistics systems with shipment details.
- Ensure compliance with company policies safety standards and transportation regulations.
- Lead shipping staff in daily tasks.
- Assist with inventory control and reconciliation as it relates to shipping activities.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
- 5 years of experience in shipping logistics warehouse operations or supply chain coordination.
- Knowledge of shipping procedures carrier services and transportation documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with international shipping and customs documentation.
- Knowledge of DOT OSHA and transportation regulations.
- Forklift experience (5 years).
- Bilingual in English and Spanish

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand walk and move throughout a warehouse or distribution center environment.
- Occasionally lift and carry up to 25-50 pounds.
- Ability to use computers and office equipment for extended periods.
- Ability to work in hot and cold temperatures.
Reporting Structure
Reports to Shipping and Receiving Manager
Hours: M-F 6AM-4PM
