Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Job Title: Junior Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Location: Sterling VA (Onsite)

Duration: Long-term Contract

Hourly Pay: $23/hr

Direct Client Need

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily shipping receiving and comprehensive inventory management tasks.
• Un-box incoming materials box/pack outgoing shipments and execute warehouse put aways using specialized equipment.
• Safely operate a forklift and reach truck to move stack and organize materials.
• Record all inventory and customer transactions accurately into the SAP database and perform routine data entry.
• Coordinate and work closely with logistics quality and manufacturing staff to ensure operational efficiency.
• Regularly lift carry and move warehouse materials weighing up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications :

• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in Inventory Materials Shipping & Receiving.
• Proven ability to safely operate a Reach Truck.
• Experience working in a stock room environment and performing cycle counts.
• Must currently possess or be able to quickly obtain a valid Forklift certification.
