Shipping and Receiving Associate Springfield, OH

POSITION SUMMARY

The Shipper/Receiver role works within the warehouse/factory in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support the shipment of goods produced and the received goods and supplies to be used in production.

Record and check quantity and quality of goods received.

Inspect accept or reject inbound shipments.

Communicates and coordinates with appropriate buyer for products on returns/repair.

Properly input received material into computer system (SAP and local drives) and forward proper documentation to administrator.

Delivery of goods into storage or directly into appropriate work cells.

Load/unload trucks.

Accurately receive & verify accuracy of all inbound/outbound UPS FedEx etc. shipments.

Deliver work to work centers.

Support all internal operations with timely and prompt service.

Take direction as needed from management/supervision.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

Competent with Microsoft & SAP business systems.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Prior forklift operation experience a must.
