Job Summary
In this role you will impact the production efficiency and quality of Honeywells manufacturing operations by applying your expertise in sheet metal work to support product development and maintenance contributing to the overall success of the business unit.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate assemble and install sheet metal parts and components according to blueprints specifications and safety standards.
- Operate hand and power tools to cut shape and join metal materials with precision and accuracy.
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance and troubleshoot any issues during the fabrication process.
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
- Experience in sheet metal fabrication and installation with a strong understanding of metalworking techniques and safety protocols.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints technical drawings and specifications.
- Skilled in operating hand and power tools specific to sheet metal work including shears brakes and welding equipment.
- Knowledge of welding techniques and metal joining processes applicable to sheet metal fabrication.
WE VALUE
- Completion of an apprenticeship or vocational training in sheet metal work or related field.
- Several years of experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with safety standards and compliance in metal fabrication.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to changing production demands.
- Strong problem-solving skills related to fabrication challenges.
