Currently hiring experienced Sheet Metal Mechanics for long-term projects in the Annapolis Annapolis Junction and Columbia MD areas. Pay is up to $35 an hour with potential for overtime. As a sheet metal mechanic you are responsible for fabricating installing and maintaining high-quality metal components and structures. Sheet Metal Mechanic Responsibilities:

• Lay out fabricate and install HVAC duct systems and sheet metal components

• Read and interpret blueprints shop drawings and job specifications

• Cut shape join and assemble sheet metal using hand and power tools ensuring precise fabrication and alignment

• Install ductwork diffusers registers dampers and flexible components

• Seal and ensure systems are properly aligned sealed and meet quality standards

• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean organized work area

Sheet Metal Mechanic Qualifications:

• 5 years of commercial sheet metal experience

• Proficient in HVAC duct fabrication and installation

• Able to read blueprints and follow detailed plans

• Your own hand tools and PPE

• Valid Drivers License and your own reliable transportation
