Job Summary
Responsibilities and Duties:
Design & Drafting Support
- Assist in creating and updating 2D and 3D BIM drawings for mechanical systems (HVAC plumbing piping).
- Support the detailing of construction layouts schematics and shop drawings.
- Ensure all drawings meet company drafting standards and project specifications.
- Revise drawings as directed by BIM Trade Leads Project Coordinators or BIM Coordinators
- Assist with coordination between mechanical electrical and structural drawings to identify potential clashes or conflicts.
Learning & Development
- Gain an understanding of mechanical construction processes prefabrication and field installation.
- Learn to interpret design drawings specifications and project requirements.
- Participate in team meetings design reviews and training sessions.
Qualifications
Skills & Abilities
- Basic proficiency in Revit and Navisworks a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting and documentation.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and apply new technical skills
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
