Settlements Analyst

The Settlements Analyst position offers the opportunity to become highly knowledgeable in the area of Settlements. A strong candidate will transition seamlessly between tasks that require a keen eye for detail and provide exceptional client service to Janneys financial professionals in the addition to their core daily responsibilities the ideal candidate would be able to run small projects identify and implement process :Provide exceptional support to Janney branchesResearch and analyzing dataPerform reconciliation functionsCorrespond with Financial Advisors internal contacts and outside vendorsCollaborate effectively with other operations teams to solve issuesWork closely with teammates to balance workloadDraft and maintain policies and procedures as neededLead and join small projects both within and outside the teamDesign test and implement system enhancements to improve workflow and overall clientexperienceRequired Skills:Ability to prioritize and execute duties quickly and accurately within tight timeframesHigh degree of accuracy and attention to detailProficient in Microsoft Word Excel and PowerpointStrong written and oral communication skillsStrong initiative and time management skillsAbility to work well in a fast paced environment and meet critical deadlinesAn effective team player who works well under pressure and interacts appropriately with othersRequired Experience:Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in operations/financial industry1-2 years of related experience in Settlement Operations a plusKnowledge/Experience using SQL or RPA a plusWhy work for usBenefits: Janney believes that its employees are the key to what makes a great company.
