As aServices Technicianwith Insightyou willperforminstallation modification repair testing and/or servicing on systems and communications equipment including but not limitedtohardware and peripherals; software configuration; voicevideoand data cabling systems; and willcount on you toIdentify system hardware problems anddeterminethe most efficient andcost effectiveway of resolving the the wayyou willPerform necessary hardware and peripheral repair keeping client downtime to a minimum.

As aServicesTechnicianyou willget to:

• Performs necessary hardware and peripheral includes but is not limited toidentifyingthe problem anddeterminingthe most efficient andcost effectiveway to resolve the problem keeping customer downtime to a minimum.

• Installs and tests system hardware at customer includes but is not limited to setting up the hardware testing the hardware to make sure it is workingidentifyingsystem hardwareproblemsand following any special instructions.

• Completes all required documentation involved in a service call to ensureaccuratebilling andtimelyreturn of defective products/parts with respect to warranty or contract. This includes completion of required Insight and vendor paperwork preparing defectiveproductsor parts for return to vendor and promptly returning defective products/parts and paperwork according to Insight policies and procedures.

• Understand current depot programs such as Hot Swap and AR3D;participateas needed.

Whatwerelooking for:

• IT related Certificate or Diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution

• 2-5 years troubleshooting related experience and/or IT customer service experience in an enterprise environment

• Strong communication organizational customer service and problem-solving skills

• MustpossessA certification

• MCSE MCP designation or other certifications are an asset

• ITIL Foundations designationan asset

• Working knowledge of PowerShell is an asset

• Working knowledge of Remedy is an asset
