Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Service Technician to join our fire business unit.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Service Program Test and Inspect Fire Alarm Systems
• Ensure equipment is functional and operational
• Diagnose causes of problems or failures in systems for the purpose of identifying equipment and systems repair
• Replace system components as assigned; panels audible/visual alarms etc.
• Provide technical support to Customers including remote phone diagnosis and troubleshooting of signal issues related to formats and receivers
• Interact professionally with customers
• Coordinate with Manager and dispatcher for the purpose of completing service and work orders efficiently
• Inform dispatcher and or manager the status of service to take appropriate action
• Maintains assigned vehicle tools and equipment

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 5 years experience in installing or servicing burglar alarm fire alarm closed circuit television access control systems
• Knowledgeable about working on fire alarm and security systems. Responsible for troubleshooting repairing and inspecting
• This position requires regular driving to customer and project sites. A valid drivers license is required

Preferred Qualifications:

• NICET II Certification
• Alarm System Notifier experience including troubleshooting and programming

The hourly pay range for this position is $30.00$40.00 per hour. The starting hourly pay will be determined based on qualifications experience education skills certifications and internal equity. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package.
