Chapman Ford Pro Elite is looking for a dependable and motivated Service Porter to join our service team. As a Service Porter you will play an important role in creating a positive customer experience by safely moving vehicles keeping the service department organized and helping the service team operate efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Assist with vehicle flow in the service department
• Safely operate customer and dealership vehicles including large and oversized vehicles
• Check and maintain service vehicles including fuel oil water and tire pressure
• Maintain inventory of service supplies including key tags floor mats and seat covers
• Help keep the service drive shop and surrounding work areas clean and organized
• Perform courtesy vehicle washes as requested
• Follow all safety procedures while operating vehicles and performing daily duties
• Work collaboratively with the service team to ensure an efficient and positive customer experience
• Support the service team with additional tasks to ensure an efficient customer experience

Qualifications

• Ability to safely operate vehicles of various sizes including large and oversized vehicles
• Manual transmission driving experience is required
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Customer service lot attendant or related experience is helpful but not required
• Positive attitude with a strong willingness to help customers and coworkers
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
