Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of facilities and equipment through routine maintenance troubleshooting and repairs encompassing tasks like plumbing electrical and HVAC systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing regular checks inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems equipment and machinery.
- Diagnosing and fixing mechanical electrical plumbing and HVAC issues promptly.
- Maintaining and repairing building systems including heating ventilation air conditioning (HVAC) plumbing and electrical systems.
- Maintaining and repairing machinery equipment and tools used in the facility.
- Ensuring that all equipment and systems are maintained to meet safety standards and regulations.
- Maintaining an inventory of spare parts tools and supplies needed for repairs and maintenance.
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities repairs and inspections.
- Working with other team members contractors and vendors to coordinate repairs and maintenance activities.
- Responding promptly to emergency maintenance requests and ensuring minimal downtime.
- Installing new equipment or machinery as needed.
- Identifying and resolving maintenance issues efficiently and effectively.
- Communicating effectively with colleagues supervisors and clients regarding maintenance issues and progress
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of electrical plumbing HVAC and carpentry systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Proven experience in property maintenance or related field.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
