RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure that customers receive prompt courteous and effective service
• Serve as a liaison between technicians and customers
• Take ownership of the customers experience by carrying out those additional assignments that allow the dealership to leave a positive impression with the customer
• Manage and hire technicians and service advisors
• Interview and make new hires
• Distribute work between technicians
• Prioritize required services
• Ensure customer has a positive dealership experience
• Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries whether by phone or in person.

  Classic Hyundai of Hampton is seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Manager to join our team in Hampton VA. The Service Manager will oversee the daily operations of the service department ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient workflow. This role requires strong leadership skills a passion for automotive service and the ability to foster a positive work environment.

  Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise the service department staff to ensure high-quality customer service and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate service schedules and workflow to maximize productivity and meet customer expectations.
  • Develop strategies to increase service department revenue and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain communication with customers regarding service status and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies safety standards and industry regulations.
  • Train mentor and motivate team members to achieve performance targets.
  • Manage inventory and ordering of parts and supplies.

  Requirements

  • Proven experience in automotive service management or a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of automotive service processes and technologies.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-focused with problem-solving skills.
  • Valid drivers license.
