Responsibilities
  • Deliver a warm professional and welcoming experience to every customer.
  • Process customer payments accurately using cash checks credit cards and other approved payment methods.
  • Review repair orders and invoices for accuracy before completing transactions.
  • Reconcile repair orders and ensure all required documentation is complete.
  • Calculate charges for labor parts taxes warranties and other applicable fees.
  • Maintain accurate cash drawer balances and reconcile daily transactions.
  • Complete accounting portions of repair orders in accordance with dealership procedures.
  • Process and submit closed repair orders and related documentation daily.
  • Return vehicle keys upon payment and assist customers with directions as needed.
  • Answer incoming service department calls transfer calls appropriately and take detailed messages.
  • Work closely with service advisors technicians and office staff to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information at all times.
  • Perform other administrative and customer service duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Previous cashier customer service receptionist or administrative experience preferred.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable handling cash and balancing daily transactions.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to learn dealership software.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Positive friendly and professional attitude.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Dependable with a strong work ethic.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
