Job Summary
Server
Provide exceptional guest service to hotel guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests with a smile eye contact and friendly greeting.
- Maintain knowledge of menu prices specials and food items.
- Take guest orders and relay to kitchen; serve food promptly.
- Observe guests and assist with additional requests.
- Follow approved cash handling and transaction procedures.
- Perform duties of a busperson as needed during shifts.
- Complete assigned side work and closing duties.
- Use guest recovery methods to resolve complaints.
- Prepare deposits and end-of-shift reports (if applicable).
- Report safety or security issues immediately.
- Maintain clean organized and safe work areas.
- Perform additional duties as needed or assigned.
Qualifications
- Ability to provide exceptional guest service consistently.
- Ability to write orders or take orders by memory.
- Strong communication skills and active listening.
- Ability to use POS and basic computer applications.
- Availability on weekends holidays overtime or alternating shifts.
- Previous serving experience preferred.
