POSITION TITLE: Server
EMPLOYMENT CLASSIFICATION: Part-Time non-exempt
POSITION REPORTS TO: General Manager
DEPARTMENT: Dining
SHIFT: Part-Time Open Availability Required (Monday-Sunday including mornings evenings weekends and holidays)

Position Summary

The Server is responsible for creating an exceptional dining experience by providing friendly efficient and attentive service to every guest. This position serves as a key representative of the restaurant by welcoming guests taking food and beverage orders offering menu recommendations and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience. The ideal candidate is energetic customer-focused and passionate about hospitality while thriving in a fast-paced team environment.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Exceed First Class Service standards and behaviors with every guest business partner and team member.
  • Greet guests promptly and professionally upon arrival.
  • Present menus answer questions and provide food and beverage recommendations.
  • Accurately take and enter guest orders into the POS system.
  • Deliver food and beverages efficiently while ensuring order accuracy and presentation standards.
  • Anticipate guest needs and provide attentive service throughout the dining experience.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest concerns and requests.
  • Process payments accurately and efficiently.
  • Build guest loyalty through exceptional hospitality and personalized service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables dining areas and service stations.
  • Complete opening running side work and closing duties as assigned.
  • Follow all company policies food safety guidelines sanitation standards and health regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment free of safety hazards.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient restaurant operations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Position Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous restaurant hospitality retail or customer service experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
  • Basic math skills for handling guest payments and transactions.
  • Availability to work a flexible part-time schedule with open availability Monday through Sunday including mornings evenings weekends and holidays.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to frequently bend stoop reach and carry trays or items weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to work in an environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions associated with serving guests.
  • Ability to move throughout the restaurant safely and efficiently during busy service periods.
