Xylem is looking for a Senior Water Treatment Technician to report to our Jacksonville FL location and service our water treatment equipment at customer sites in the surrounding area.
What your day will look like a a Senior Water Treatment Technician
The Expert Water Treatment Technician will be responsible for the installation service troubleshooting and maintenance of our water treatment and water purification equipment utilizing a company service vehicle. Equipment-specific training will be provided. Previous experience with industrial or commercial process water treatment along with strong technical mechanical plumbing and controls experience is especially encouraged.
This position has general day shift hours with overtime opportunities and a compensated on-call rotation with occasional afternoons/weekends. This is a highly customer-facing role requiring approximately 50% or more daily travel to customer sites.

Position Requirements for Senior Water Treatment Technicians
HS diploma or equivalent
2-5 years of technical experience including industrial or commercial process water experience
Experience troubleshooting servicing and maintaining water treatment equipment and systems
Basic controls ability including PLC experience
Strong technical/mechanical/plumbing aptitude
Experience with Microsoft Office including the ability to utilize smart devices
Ability to work effectively in a high customer-facing position
Ability to identify and remedy potential safety concerns
Ability to work independently while managing customer service and field service responsibilities
Ability to pass a background check drug screen MVR and DOT physical
A valid drivers license with a clean driving record
Compensation Disclaimer:
Job postings will include a wide salary range with each roles pay falling within that range. Estimated starting range for this position is $28-$32/hr Actual starting salary is based on factors such as skills experience location and market conditions.
