Job Summary

This position serves as a Senior Warfare Analyst (SWA)in support ofPMX-281 and the Combined Mission Planning Continuum (CMPC)teamlocatedat NASPatuxent River MD (remote work authorized).The SWA will provide operational subject matterexpertisetoPMX-281 to includegathering and incorporationoffleet requirementsplanningofdevelopment schedulesandprogram management of CMPC cost schedule and performance. Candidates willbe requiredtoleveragetheir experience toestablishworking relationships with fleet users of mission planning systemsand navigateUS Navy and Air Force organizations.Defense acquisitionandOperational Testexperienceat the operational and tactical levels isgreatly desiredto supportCMPCdevelopment andintroduction into the fleet.Demonstrated communications skills independent project coordination andproficiencywith Microsoft Office suite of toolsa must.

Essential Job Functions

• Provide SMEexpertiseon current Mission Planning systems and techniques for USN aviation platforms

• Provide SMEexpertiseon Airborne Electronic Attack and other Electronic Warfare mission systems

• Provide SMEexpertiseon current and futureUSN and USAF platformcapabilities.

• Develop roadmaps tailored briefing and decision products to inform stakeholders and key working groups as to the status of the respective portfolio.

• Provide input tothe governmenton long term acquisition requirements based onfleet operational requirements and priorities

• IdentifyScience and Technology opportunities in systems sensors and equipment to bemonitoredassisted or transitioned to programs of record.

• Monitor and provide analysis of advanced system development test and evaluation and fleet experiments and demonstrations.

• Coordinate vetting of industry S&T initiatives and proposals requiring Fleet support

Qualifications

• 8yearsof militaryactive duty(required)

• Bachelors degree in engineeringortechnicaldiscipline(required)

• SeniorEA-18GPilot or Naval Flight Officer (required)

• Program management and analysis experience (required)

• Active Secret security clearance with TS/SCI eligibility (required)

• Weapon and Tactics Instructor (WTI) (required)

• Operational Test or Exercise Planning experience (preferred)

• Experience with NAVAIR Acquisition programs(preferred)

• Operational Test or Exercise Planning experience (preferred)
