We are currently looking for a Senior VPM Engineer to join our team in Farmington Hills.


A Day in the Life:
The responsibilities listed are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties for this role. Additional tasks may be assigned as needed to support business objectives.


Lead cross-cultural program development activities to ensure completion of key milestones and vehicle Quality/Cost/Timing.
Develop project schedules and manage the critical path.
Monitor metrics identify key issues and bring decision-ready issues forward to the chief engineer.
Be the liaison between engineering and outside organizations (manufacturing marketing product planning etc.).
Ensure the project stays on schedule and on budget.
Be able to work cross-functionally and cross-culturally within the Nissan organization.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering
Minimum of 5 years of professional-level experience in a related engineering discipline
Firm understanding of automotive technology and engineering practices with a hands-on background in the automotive industry
Strong oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated leadership skills
Up to 10-20% travel may be required both domestic and international
Willingness to work overtime as necessary to complete the job
Ability to perform work onsite at Farmington Hills
Motor Vehicle Report required (clean driving record)
