Senior Tunnel Construction Project Manager

Join AECOMs dynamic tunneling team as a Senior Tunnel Construction Project Manager in our Austin Texas office. This role offers exceptional opportunities for technical leadership client engagement and career advancement within one of the worlds leading infrastructure consulting firms. The position offers a hybrid work model.

The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Directs and manages the entire project provides guidance to subordinate managers enforces company and project policies and serves as a primary liaison between AECOM and client.
• Accountable for delivering all facets of the constructed project in accordance with design budget and schedule.
• Overall management of construction project life cycle including but not limited to pre-construction budgeting/schedule stage procurement facility start-up and operation and contract closeout.
• Position has primary fiscal responsibility and key liaison between client for assigned project.

Qualifications :

Minimum Requirement:

• BA/BS 10 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Preferred Requirements:

• Registered professional engineer in the State of Texas.
• 10 years experience in Tunnel and Pump Station Construction.
• 15 years experience in Tunnel and Pump Station Construction.
• 5 years experience in managing the entire project including direct client interface.
• Project Manager for projects with construction costs exceeding $500 million USD including employee management of a diverse pool of professionals.
• Extensive knowledge of Texas DOT standard specifications.
• Some knowledge of AASHTOWare Project Construction & Materials.
• Extensive knowledge of budget management and risks for the client and AECOM.
