We are seeking a Senior Transportation Project Manager (Illinois PE/SE) to lead a growing transportation practice oversee high-profile IDOT Illinois Tollway and municipal infrastructure projects and strengthen strategic client relationships throughout the region.

Salary Range: 150000 To 275000 Per Year

• Manage transportation and roadway projects from planning through design and delivery
• Serve as a trusted advisor for clients including IDOT Illinois Tollway municipalities and local agencies
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams
• Oversee project scope schedule budget and quality
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and project staff
• Support proposal development and project pursuits
• Identify opportunities for additional work with existing and new clients
• Collaborate with regional leadership on strategic growth initiatives

Minimum requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Illinois Structural Engineering (SE) License
• 15 years of transportation engineering experience
• Experience managing roadway or transportation infrastructure projects
• Experience working with public-sector transportation clients
• Strong client relationship and communication skills

Technical requirements:

• Professional Engineer (PE) Illinois Structural Engineering SE License
• Adept at digital literacy skills Medium Required
• Adept at execution and delivery (planning delivering and supporting) skills Medium Required
• Defines structural engineering design projects by identifying short-term and long-range issues and preparing timelines cost estimates and required resources for issue resolution plans.
• Conducts complex calculations relating to foundations and structures loading structural response and connection designs to ensure project specifications are met
• Ensures and supports construction by performing compliance inspections and tests resolving construction problems related to structural design and coordinating with construction and production contractors
• Implements processes that help ensure constant organizational compliance with all laws codes and regulations that govern structural engineering planning and design operations.
