Hybrid position - 2 days/week onsite in Annapolis MD 3 days/week remote. Must be located within a reasonable driving distance of Annapolis.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experiencedSenior Technology Training Specialistto develop and deliver technical training and supporting documentation for a variety of commercially available and proprietary software applications. The successful candidate will provide hands-on instruction while developing clear engaging materials that help users effectively adopt and utilize technology.

This position is well suited for a technology training professional who combines strong instructional and communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical training for professional audiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan develop and deliver instructor-led training for commercially available and proprietary software applications.
• Develop technical documentation Quick Reference Guides training videos and other instructional materials.
• Design training for individuals and groups using adult learning principles.
• Work with subject matter experts and stakeholders to identify training needs and address user challenges.
• Manage training projects coordinating multiple tasks resources stakeholders and deadlines.
• Provide training and support for Microsoft Office applications including Teams Copilot OneNote SharePoint Word Excel and PowerPoint.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree from an accredited university.
• 5 years of experience as a technology trainer working with proprietary and/or advanced commercial software applications.
• Professional experience providing technology training in support of a government or public-sector client.
• Strong technical training communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 years of experience developing technical documentation.
• Experience delivering instructor-led training using adult learning principles.
• Experience developing video-based or interactive technical training preferably using tools such as Camtasia Articulate 360 or Vyond.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Teams Copilot OneNote SharePoint and other Microsoft Office applications.
