Position Overview

MxDis currentlyseekingan experienced hands-on Senior Systems Integration EngineerAssociate. You will become part of the team responsible fordemonstratingstate-of-the-artdigital technologies for use in Americas factories participate incutting-edgeprojects and communicate the future state of digital manufacturing toMxDmembers and this role you will have a variety of responsibilities includingtechnicalcontributiontospecific projectscommunicating the development and implementation of digital manufacturing technologies andtheMxDFactory will report to of Engineering.

Ideal candidates should have networks cybersecurity control systems MES and PLM integrationasthesearejust a few of the many areas covered in this role. Candidates must have sufficient experience to understand and communicate digital technologiesinterface withMxDmembers/partners aswell asbe capable ofbuildingthese technologieswhileexplaining the process of the design and implementation. PositionResponsibilities

• Participate indigital modernization assessments acrossthe Organic Industrial Base(OIB)facilities

• Provide technical guidance and real-time feedback to OIB stakeholders

• Translate stakeholder needs into scoped modernization initiatives

• Align with Gov Engagement on grant and proposal opportunities

• Writetechnical deliverables for project documentation

• Align solutions to opportunities and use cases

• Interface with plant leaders operators and military officers

• Ensure identified solutions are implemented and sustained

• RepresentMxDat industry forums and events

• Utilize industry and members in providing and implementing solutions

• Lead tours of theMxDfactory floor

Position Requirements

• Bachelors degreeinMechanical Industrial or Manufacturing Systems Engineeringorequivalentrelevant experience or education

• This position requires the employee to be on-site at the MxD facility (Chicago) most of the time with some flexibility for hybrid work based on team and manager needs. (Must be local to the Chicagoland Area)

• 4years of progressive experience in manufacturing systems integration(preferred)

• Proven experience with digital manufacturing technologies

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interface with the executive levels of both MxD and MxD commercial and academic partners

• Hands-on team-oriented and committed to the advancement of manufacturing technologies

• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with strong project management skills

• Experience excelling within fast-paced high-energy environments

• Strong risk assessment problem-solving and corrective action capabilities

• Knowledge of manufacturing integrationstandards(e.g. ISA-95 ISA-88)

• Experience with scripting or programming languages for automation and data integration

• Ability and willingness to travel to OIB and partner facilities at least 30% of the time
