THE ROLE:

Our site in Chaska MN is seeking a Senior Supervisor Blow Mold Department to join our team.

The Senior Supervisor Blow Mold Manufacturing is responsible and accountable for achieving blow molding departmental production requirements across 1st 2nd and 3rd shifts with a primary focus on safety quality delivery and cost (SQDC). This role provides senior-level leadership for blow mold operations overseeing direct reports and ensuring consistent execution of standards processes and expectations across all shifts.

This position is critical to building and sustaining a high-performing team through effective supervision training coaching and development of supervisors and operators.

WHAT YOULL DO:

• Ensure safe work practices and partner with EHS to promote and maintain a strong safety culture.

• Provide end-to-end leadership for blow mold manufacturing operations across all shifts.

• Serve as the senior escalation point for safety quality production equipment and people-related issues.

• Directly lead coach and develop direct reports consisting of leads technicians and operators; support training and certification of team.

• Ensure attainment of production plans while meeting quality delivery and cost goals.

• Promote and lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean / Six Sigma tools.

WHAT WE SEEK:

• 5 years of experience in a complex manufacturing environment preferably blow molding or plastics.

• 1-2 years of supervisory or leadership experience required (multi-shift supervision preferred).

• Strong working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement tools.

• Bachelors degree in engineering Manufacturing Business Administration or related field preferred.

• Experience with lean and/or six sigma methodologies preferred.

• Compensation: $80000-$85000 with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role.
