Senior Project Engineer Structural

Opportunity

Were seeking a Senior Structural Project Engineer with expertise in designing structural systems for large industrial and warehouse facilities. Youll be part of a multidisciplinary team of architects engineers and project managers working on complex projects up to $500 million for leading brands in the food and beverage industry. This key role combines deep technical expertise problem-solving and mentorship within a values-driven environment that prioritizes teamwork and professional growth.

Position Overview

Reporting to the Director of Civil Structural Environmental Health & Safety Engineering the Senior Project Engineer will:

Lead the structural engineering portion of major projects across industrial commercial science technology and workplace sectors.
Manage all structural engineering deliverables including data collection design specifications contract documents shop drawing review and construction coordination.
Collaborate proactively with multi-discipline design teams to achieve innovative buildable solutions.
Serve as a mentor and technical resource for junior engineers.

Qualifications

BS in Civil Engineering (Structural emphasis) required; MS in Civil or Structural Engineering a plus.
PE and/or SE license (required in at least one U.S. state).
10 years of structural design and project leadership experience.
Proficient in the design of structural steel concrete masonry cold-formed metal framing wood framing and foundation systems.
Understanding and knowledge of structural requirements for precast and tilt-up concrete projects.
Demonstrated proficiency in producing structural construction documents within the Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and BIM environment using Revit.
Expertise in structural analysis software such as:
RAM Structural System RAM Elements Tekla TEDDS Tekla Structural Designer RISA CFS Anchor Designer (Strong-Tie) Hilti Profis Ideastatica Excel/VBA.
In-depth knowledge of U.S. Building Codes and Reference Standards.
