Our client a world leader in life sciences is looking for Senior Specialist Laboratory IT & Systems Support in Foster City CA.
Job Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility Of Extension)
Pay Rate: $76/hr on W2

We are seeking a Senior Specialist Laboratory IT & Systems Support to support laboratory computing environments scientific instruments laboratory software and IT infrastructure within a regulated biotech/pharmaceutical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage laboratory computers instrument-connected workstations deployments upgrades and retirement.
- Support laboratory instrument software vendor applications and connectivity.
- Troubleshoot hardware software network and laboratory technology issues.
- Coordinate network connections security patching and compliance activities.
- Maintain CMDB records and laboratory technology inventories.
- Partner with IT LIS Digital & Data Facilities Quality and instrument vendors.
- Support laboratory expansions relocations renovations and startup activities.
- Develop technical documentation support procedures and operational standards.
- Lead or support laboratory IT projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in IT Computer Science Engineering or related field.
- 5 years of experience supporting laboratory IT laboratory systems or scientific instrumentation.
- Experience in pharmaceutical biotech life sciences or regulated laboratory environments.
- Experience working with instrument vendors and enterprise IT teams.
- Strong troubleshooting communication customer service and stakeholder management skills.
