Job Summary
Fluke is seeking a Senior Software Test Engineer with deep expertise in WiFi and network systems to lead quality engineering for network test and diagnostic tools. You will ensure products deliver accurate fast and actionable network insights across enterprise and field environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead test strategies for network test products
- Validate WiFi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/6E) and Ethernet performance
- Test roaming latency throughput packet loss authentication
- Perform packet analysis using Wireshark
- Develop automation frameworks and network test tools across Windows and Linux environments
- Integrate testing into CI/CD with hardware-in-the-loop
- Validate real-world troubleshooting workflows
- Collaborate with hardware firmware and cloud teams
- Mentor engineers and drive quality best practices
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters in relevant field
- 8 years in software test/quality engineering
- Strong WiFi and networking protocol knowledge (TCP/IP DHCP DNS)
- Experience with embedded systems testing
- Programming skills (Python preferred)
- Experience with CI/CD and automation
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with network test tools
- Wireshark iPerf traffic generation tools
