Your role at Dynatrace
Wereseekinga highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to play a critical role in designing and delivering-thenext-generation observability platform. You will take ownership of complex high-impact projects collaborating with Product Engineering and cross-functional teams to ensure robust scalable and high-performance solutions. Beyond coding you will mentor junior engineers influence architectural decisions and drive technical excellence across the organization
- Architect & Build:Design develop and maintain highly scalable and reliable software systems that power our core platform.
- Collaborate & Deliver:Partner closely with Product and Engineering teams to translate business needs into innovative user-centric features.
- Champion Quality:Write clean well-tested code and elevate the teams engineering standards through rigorous constructive code reviews.
- Solve Complex Problems:Dive deep to investigate and debug distributed systems focusing on permanent root-cause solutions rather than quick fixes.
- Tackle Technical Debt:Proactively identify structural bottlenecks and drive improvements to ensure long-term system stability and performance.
- Mentor & Empower:Guide junior and mid-level engineers fostering a collaborative culture of continuous learning accountability and teamwork.
- Drive Innovation:Stay ahead of industry trends to continuously optimize our system architecture developer workflows and overall product reliability.
What will help you succeed
- 5 years of experience in software engineering or related roles
- Strong proficiency in programming languages relevant to the platform like GoLang TypeScript and React
- Experience with Kubernetes observability tools distributed systems and OpenTelemetry
- Hands-on experience with AI development and tooling (e.g. integrating AI APIs) beyond basic prompting.
- Strong problem-solving analytical and debugging skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
