Job Description
What Youll Do
Develop andimplementsimulation components that model vehicle ECUs actuators chassis and tires.
Develop scalable simulation architectures to supporta large number ofhost vehicle models.
Collaborate with Vehicle dynamics and actuation technical experts across GM.
Design run and interpret vehicle model validation studies.
Refactor and optimize code for long term maintainability and performance improvements
Generate documentation for designdocuments port-mortems and release notes
Your Skills and Abilities
Abachelorsdegree in Mechanical Engineering Applied Physics Aerospace Engineering Computer Science or a related area and at least3years of experiencein the vehicle modeling domain.
Expertiseinvehicle system modeling and simulation (powertrain suspension steering brakes chassis controls etc.)
Strong programming skills inPython andC/C
Experience withMatlab/Simulink System ID studies model validation and data analysis
Compensation
The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paidin accordance withapplicable state laws. The compensation may not be representative for positionslocatedoutside of New York Colorado California or Washington.
The salary range for this role is $129400 and $198400. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
Bonus Potential: An incentivepayprogram offers payouts based on company performance job level and individual performance.
