Duties and responsibilities

  • Design and implement product features from internal and external customer requirements and clinical feedback.
  • Apply standard technologies to software design implementation and testing.
  • Work closely with other team members to coordinate assignments and communicate progress and/or difficulties.
  • Investigate and resolve complex runtime software issues received from varying sources in a timely manner.
  • Understand requirements both from users perspective and technical details.
  • Manage personal project priorities deadlines and deliverables.
  • Developing new and maintaining existing code and design.
  • Providing input solutions and recommendations.
  • Participate in design and code reviews and understand and enforce the importance of coding standards.
  • Troubleshooting complex problems.
  • Comply with all applicable U.S. Food and Drug Administration (U.S. FDA) medical device regulatory requirements applicable ISO 13485 standard requirements and all other applicable laws regulations and standards.

Qualifications

  • BS degree or higher in a scientific engineering or clinical field not required.
  • 5 years of proven corporate/technical lead training experience.
  • Understanding of effective teaching methodologies and tools.
  • Willingness to keep abreast of new techniques in corporate teaching.
  • Proficient in MS Office (esp. PowerPoint); e-learning software is an asset.
  • Phenomenal communication presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Organizational and time management abilities.
  • Critical thinking and decision making.
  • Certified training certificate is a plus.

Experience with:

  • Object Oriented Design and Implementation Technologies
  • Thorough understanding of Model View Controller (MVC) and Model-View-ViewModel (MVVM) architecture patterns
  • Repository and Singleton design patterns
  • Client technologies for creating Responsive Web Design.
  • Entity Relationship Modeling and Principles of Relational Database
  • Agile/SCRUM work practices
  • NET C# LINQ
  • Web API SOAP Services AJAX
  • HTML5 CSS XML/JSON JavaScript jQuery Bootstrap or Tailwind
  • MS-SQL PL-SQL

Physical requirements

The position requires the ability to perform the following physical demands and/or have the listed capabilities.

  • The ability to sit up 75-100% of applicable work time.
  • The ability to use your hands and fingers to feel and manipulate items including keyboards up to 100% of applicable work time.
  • The ability to stand talk and hear for 75% of applicable work time.
  • The ability to lift and carry up to ten pounds up to 20% of applicable work time.
  • Close Vision: The ability to see clearly at twenty inches or less.

Travel

  • Occasional (up to 10%) travel may be required based on business need.
