What You Will Do

• Design build and maintain scalable software systems that support a high-demand marketplace connecting businesses with workers.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product design and operations to deliver impactful features that enhance user and business outcomes.
• Write clean well-tested and maintainable code that adheres to both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions to continuously elevate the engineering standards.
• Proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks reliability issues and technical debt.

Ideal Candidate Background

• 25 years of professional software engineering experience in a production environment.
• Proven track record of taking ownership of features or systems from design through deployment.
• Strong fundamentals in computer science including data structures algorithms and system design.
• Experience in a fast-paced collaborative engineering team where quality and speed are prioritized.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and contribute to technical decisions with minimal oversight.
• Genuine interest in the intersection of technology operations and workforce solutions.

Preferred

• Experience with React Native and Python.
• Background in big tech companies transitioning to startups.
• A degree in computer science from a top-tier institution.

Compensation and Benefits
