Rumi is a $100M funded neobank transforming consumer and business finance in Mexico and Latin America building banking point-of-sale lending and merchant tools on top of a regulated Mexican bank license.

Rumi is hiring a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (4-8 years) as one of its first engineering hires in San Francisco. You will own features end to end across greenfield products from a merchant operating system (payroll point of sale inventory) to an AI-powered WhatsApp financial assistant.

• Build and own full-stack features from UI to backend to deployment across banking merchant and consumer products.
• Architect and scale services for lending payments pay-in/payout and ledger systems.
• Build SMB workflow tools (payroll point of sale inventory) integrated with a regulated bank.
• Use AI tooling to accelerate the development lifecycle on a modern TypeScript and React stack.
• Ship rapidly with product design and a small engineering team.

• 4-8 years as a full-stack engineer
• Production TypeScript React and
• Experience with SQL databases and message queues
• Comfort owning greenfield products end to end

• Payments ledger or lending systems
• Spanish language skills
