Senior Software Engineer Agentic Systems, Instructional Products

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who combines deep backend and automation expertise with a with a demonstrated ability to integrate AI-driven agents into complex content and engineering ecosystems. This role will help evolve how our teams build software and how instructional content is created validated and delivered at scale.n

In this role you will design and build intelligent tooling and automation that improves both engineering productivity and content operations across Instructional Products. Youll work across applications frameworks services and content platforms to identify opportunities where AI-powered workflows can meaningfully improve quality efficiency and will prototype and productionize systems that leverage agentic coding workflows automation pipelines and AI-driven content processing to streamline development and publishing processes. Success in this role requires strong engineering fundamentals systems thinking and the ability to translate emerging technologies into reliable tools used by multiple position combines hands-on software development with technical leadership partnering closely with engineering quality design and content teams to modernize workflows while maintaining Apples high standards for craftsmanship and user experience.

5 or more years of professional software engineering experience delivering production -on experience using agentic systems to accelerate software development and/or operational programming expertise in Python and JavaScript/ building modern web applications APIs or backend developing automation systems developer tooling or workflow designing scalable solutions that integrate across multiple systems and communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with evolving technical priorities.n

Experience building tools that automate or enhance content creation publishing localization or validation with LLM-powered systems retrieval pipelines or structured content transformation building internal platforms used by engineers writers or operational in developer experience (DevEx) CI/CD systems or large-scale automation for improving both engineering and content quality through intelligent tooling.n
