Job Summary
Role Descriptions:
- Deep understanding of Agile principles and practices including Scrum Kanban and Lean.
- Ensure the Agile Release Train (ART) stays on track by facilitating ART events and processes.
- Act as a Servant Leader Chief Scrum Master and coach for the ART.
- Demonstrate strong Scrum Management experience.
- Build and manage relationships with Product Owners team members and external stakeholders.
- Facilitate feature and capability estimation to support economic decision-making at the value stream and portfolio levels.
- Hands-on experience with JIRA and Confluence.
- Coach teams on Agile Scrum processes and best practices.
- Basic understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) Agile Engineering Practices and DevOps.
- Knowledge of Agile concepts including:
- User Story Management
- Continuous Integration (CI)
- Continuous Testing (CT)
- Task Management
- Capacity Planning
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including:
- Sprint Planning
- Daily Stand-ups
- Sprint Reviews
- Sprint Retrospectives
- Identify anticipate and resolve risks impediments and blockers impacting delivery.
- Analyze and report team performance using velocity burndown charts and other Agile metrics.
- Drive continuous improvement using performance data.
- Ensure team commitment to delivering products on time.
- Scrum Master certification is preferred.
- GxP experience is required.
- Experience in the Life Sciences or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.
- Coordinate Scrum activities with other Scrum Masters and participate in onsite Scrum events (minimum 3 days per week).
- Be detail-oriented and organized to keep the squad on track while proactively managing delivery risks.
- Adapt Agile practices to align with customer ways of working especially within GxP-validated systems.
- Help teams reach consensus and facilitate effective decision-making.
- Promote Agile best practices and foster a culture of learning collaboration and experimentation.
- Track team progress and maintain transparent reporting through Agile metrics.
- Manage and refine the Product Backlog and User Stories.
- Create practical project plans and perform capacity planning.
- Coach team members to improve Agile maturity and role effectiveness.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement through Sprint Retrospectives.
- Resolve and manage team conflicts effectively.
