- Pay Rate: $45.00$48.00 / Hour (USD)

The ideal candidate is a hands-on analytical scientist with strong HPLC and small-molecule pharmaceutical experience a solid foundation in analytical method development and testing and the ability to quickly contribute in the lab. They should be able to clearly communicate their technical work think through scientific problems and work effectively within a collaborative team.
- With minimal supervision plans conducts or monitors experiments records and organizes data analyzes results generates robust and reliable data and/or ensures that contracted studies are conducted in compliance with the respective protocol and applicable guidelines and regulations.
- Monitors or follows established experimental design and protocols and performs routine tasks and studies to obtain reproducible and reliable results with limited supervision.
- Plans monitors or conducts analyzes and records experiments and provides interpretation of data.
- Effectively transfers experimental methods from literature to the lab and makes modifications as necessary. Develops and implements new protocols with moderate review.
- Engages coworkers in scientific discussions.
- Communicates data and interpretation to work group.
- Skilled at developing systems to ensure quality data.
- Skilled and/or knowledgeable in the use of standard laboratory equipment and with one or more major laboratory instruments/techniques.
- Effectively troubleshoots equipment and experimental difficulties.
- Contributes to internal/external reports papers presentations regulatory documents invention disclosure submissions and/or patents.
- Participates in department-wide support efforts such as safety recruiting and committees.
- May train staff and/or supervise others.
- Coordinates and organizes resources needed to complete the task.
- Understands when to seek input and when to make independent judgments.
- Analytical method development and testing for synthetic/small molecule drug substance and drug product.
- Expertise in analytical method development within Analytical Chemistry
- Prior experience with synthetic chemistry or synthetic product analysis is required
- Expertise in at least one of the following: Liquid Chromatography (LC) Gas Chromatography (GC) or another small-molecule analytical technique
- Experience in organic chemistry inorganic chemistry or synthetic chemistry is required
- Strong hands-on experience with method development and execution is essential
- UHPLC method development and execution
- GC method development and execution
- Karl Fischer titration
- Dissolution method development and execution
- Doctorate degree (PhD PharmD or MD) with 2 years of experience; OR Masters degree with 5 years of experience; OR Bachelors degree with 7 years of experience
- Masters degree with approximately 35 years of relevant experience preferred
- PhD candidates with directly relevant analytical research/industry experience are acceptable
- Bachelors candidates may be considered with approximately 10 years of highly relevant experience
- Doctorate degree (PhD PharmD or MD) with 2 years of relevant experience; OR Masters degree with 5 years of experience; OR Bachelors degree with 7 years of experience
- An ideal candidate would hold a Ph.D. with approximately two years of relevant experience in HPLC and small-molecule pharmaceutical analysis
- A Ph.D. candidate with more than five years of relevant experience may be considered overqualified for this role
- Local candidates preferred but candidates willing to relocate independently can be considered
