Senior Quality Engineer – Process Quality & Qualifications

Job Summary
Essential Responsibilities:
- Develop process quality and product quality techniques and implement across industrialization efforts
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of technical disciplines analytical thinking and technical experience to execute policy/strategy and roadmap initiatives
- Focal point for new product introductions part and technology transfers new process introductions and strategic plant and equipment investments; inclusive of lead time technology selection tooling fixturing programming quality plan and run-off of initial production sets
- Execute and own the qualifications of new products and processes enabling a successful hand-off to the production team
- Monitor initial process capabilities and problem solve shortcomings from expectation
- Manage project timelines to meet customer needs with a strong focus on safety process capability qualifications and product quality
- Mentor and coach less experienced engineers across the site
- Engineering standardizing and optimizing manufacturing processes
- Maintain and improve process documentation and facilitate best practice sharing across the site
- Participate in early design reviews for manufacturability
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in STEM (Science Technology Engineering & Mathematics) from an accredited university or college or a High School Diploma / GED with at least 4 years of in industrial quality
- Minimum of 6 additional years of experience in Production Process Control
- This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e. U.S. citizens permanent residents and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. GE will require proof of status prior to employment
