Description:
Immediate opportunity for a Project Superintendent to perform day-to-day on-site supervision of the field labor force. Duties will include site inspection coordination and monitoring cost.

Responsibilities:

• Daily on-site supervision of the field labor force.
• Inspection of the contractor operations.
• Maintain a good working relationship with all the trades.
• Develop and maintain a site logistics plan.
• Coordinate with the Project Managers.
• Coordinate site testing and inspection efforts.
• Monitor costs including labor time.
• Enforce safety and health management plan.
• Manage schedules.
• Prepare and submit daily reports.
• Attend and participate in project meetings.

Job Requirements:

• 10 years or more supervising infrastructure rail or heavy construction projects.
• 4-year engineering degree.
• MUST be safety oriented OSHA 30 certified.
• Previous agency experience NYC projects.
• Familiar with terms and conditions of contracts and purchase orders.
• Strong abilities to read drawings and specifications.
• Computer knowledge (MS Office)
• Strong leadership qualities.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Education:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering Construction Management Civil Engineering or related field.
