Job Summary
Horner & Shifrin is seeking a full-time Senior Project Manager to join our Water team. The position requires 10 years of experience.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
- Develop and maintain a client base of municipal clients and water/wastewater utilities
- Recognize and initiate business development opportunities
- Perform and check environmental engineering calculations
- Prepare contract proposals and cost estimates
- Generate designs for projects using best practices
- Participate in the preparation and checking of environmental construction drawings
- Responsible for the completion of assigned tasks within a project
- Monitor project schedules and budgets
- Lead and mentor junior staff
- Coordinate projects with other business units as required
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Licensed Professional Engineer
- Experience in drinking water wastewater and/or stormwater design
- Ability to lead manage and schedule staff to meet project needs
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software (Outlook Excel Word)
- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD (preferred)
- Must possess a valid drivers license
- Must complete a background check
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
Master of Science Degree in Engineering (preferred)
SALARY RANGE:
Horner & Shifrin Inc. offers a comprehensive total rewards package and is committed to fair competitive market-based compensation. The target salary range for this position is $125000 - $170000. Compensation for the successful candidate will consider the candidates particular combination of knowledge skills competencies experience and geographic location.
