Job Summary
Structural Steel Construction
Were seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex structural steel projects while providing leadership and mentorship to our Project Management team. This role is responsible for driving successful project execution from pre-construction through closeout ensuring projects are delivered safely on time within budget and with exceptional client satisfaction.
- Lead multiple structural steel projects through all phases of construction.
- Manage project budgets schedules contracts change orders RFIs and procurement activities.
- Build strong relationships with clients general contractors subcontractors and internal teams.
- Lead coach and mentor Project Managers while supporting team performance and development.
- Drive project profitability schedule performance and customer satisfaction.
- Identify and resolve project risks challenges and opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with safety quality and contractual requirements.
- 15 years of experience in structural steel steel fabrication steel erection or construction.
- 12 years of project management experience.
- Strong understanding of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.
- Ability to read and interpret contracts drawings and specifications.
- Experience managing project budgets schedules and client relationships.
- Proven leadership and team development skills.
- Excellent communication problem-solving and organizational abilities.
- PMP certification is a plus.

Required Skills:
Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelors degree in Construction Management Civil Engineering Structural Engineering or a related field required. Masters degree preferred. Minimum 10 years of progressive construction management experience. Minimum 5 years of leadership experience within the structural steel industry. Proven success managing large-scale commercial industrial or infrastructure steel projects. Technical Expertise Extensive knowledge of structural steel fabrication and erection practices. Strong understanding of structural systems welding procedures bolting requirements and steel construction methodologies. Comprehensive knowledge of construction codes industry standards and safety regulations. Proficiency with construction management and design software including: Procore Primavera P6 AutoCAD Tekla Structures BIM platforms and related technologies Leadership Competencies Exceptional leadership communication and relationship-building skills. Strong negotiation and decision-making abilities. Demonstrated success leading large multidisciplinary teams. Excellent organizational planning and financial management capabilities. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Required Education:
Education & Experience Bachelors degree in Construction Management Civil Engineering Structural Engineering or a related field required. Masters degree preferred.
