Job Summary
**Senior IT Project Manager Enterprise Finance Systems**
This is not a role for someone still learning the fundamentals of project leadership. You will own complex high-stakes IT projects from inception to closure with minimal oversight operating as the single point of accountability when timelines slip budgets tighten or stakeholders conflict.
You must have 510 years of dedicated project management experience and at least five complete project life cycles already behind you preferably within multinational corporations where governance is strict and failure is visible. If your background is primarily in smaller organizations or youve only seen projects through partially you will struggle with the formality and pace here.
You must have direct experience managing Finance system projects specifically. This is not general IT work. If you do not understand the unique compliance audit and integration pressures of financial systems you will find yourself constantly behind and unable to anticipate stakeholder concerns.
You must be fluent in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies and know when to apply each without needing a playbook. We expect you to switch between frameworks fluidly based on project context not rigid preference.
You must be proficient in Planview on day one. We use this tool enterprise-wide for resource allocation portfolio tracking and executive reporting. If you need onboarding or training in Planview this role will feel technically overwhelming from week one.
You will work independently in a fast-paced politically complex environment. If you need regular direction structured check-ins or someone to prioritize your work for you this role will feel isolating and chaotic. You must proactively identify risks escalate intelligently and solve problems without waiting for permission.
You will communicate constantly with senior leadership finance executives and cross-functional teams. If you are not comfortable presenting bad news clearly defending timelines under scrutiny or translating technical complexity into executive language stakeholders will lose confidence in you quickly.
If you meet these standards and have consistently delivered enterprise projects on time on budget and to spec this role will feel like the right weight.
