A growing Southwest Florida civil engineering firm is looking for a land development engineer who is ready to step beyond design work and into project leadership. Youll manage projects from start to finish lead a small team and build your own client relationships. The path to Project Manager is clear and doesnt take years.

What Youll Do
  • Manage land development projects from planning through permitting and construction documents
  • Lead site design including grading drainage stormwater utilities and roadway layout
  • Prepare and review plans in AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Perform and review engineering calculations and technical designs
  • Work directly with clients municipalities utility providers and regulatory agencies
  • Prepare and coordinate permitting documentation
  • Keep projects on track by monitoring schedules budgets and deliverables
  • Mentor an entry-level engineer and CAD support staff
  • Contribute to proposals client development and company growth
What You Bring
  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering
  • 25 years of civil engineering experience ideally in land development
  • EI/EIT certification
  • PE license or eligibility to obtain it within about 6 months
  • Strong AutoCAD Civil 3D skills
  • Hands-on experience with grading drainage/stormwater utilities and permitting
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage projects and deadlines independently

Nice to have: Florida land development experience an active PE license familiarity with local jurisdictions and prior project leadership or mentoring experience.
