Senior Program Specialist ESE (TEMP)

Job Summary
CSET is currently seeking to hire one Temporary Full-Time Senior Program Specialist to join the Expanded Subsidized Employment (ESE) program at the Visalia Employment Connection office serving the Visalia and Tulare areas.
The qualified candidate must be a motivated knowledgeable energetic and engaging individual who is willing to work with people from diverse backgrounds. This role will support program participants by providing case management career coaching facilitating job readiness workshops assisting with job development tasks and connecting CalWORKs public assistance recipients with employers throughout the Visalia and Tulare areas.
This positions purpose is to provide Tulare County residents with vocational counseling supportive services and career planning assistance. The incumbent is responsible for providing opportunities for potential customers in low-income communities to access WIOA Career Services and enroll in the ESE program.

- Collects organizes and analyzes information about individuals through records tests interviews and professional sources to appraise their interests aptitudes abilities and personal characteristics for vocational
- Maintains case management files documents contact with customers employers school staff and other partners and provide all documentation in a timely
- Prepares and modifies documents including correspondence reports memos and
- Serves as a customer liaison responding to customer problems questions or concerns and coordinates with the proper agency personnel to provide timely and accurate answers for the
- Follow-up with customers and agencies as appropriate to document use/success of
- Provides documentation to partnering
- Inputs accurate and complete data for all contacts with customers into agency
- Facilitates one-to-one counseling case management orientations and workshops to assist in preparation for job readiness assist with resume building and help participants navigate
- Remains updated on occupational and local labor market information program requirements and regulations affecting
- Refers customers to other CSET program resources as applicable via the internal referral
- Compiles and studies occupational educational and economic information to aid in making and carrying out vocational and educational
- Participates in outreach events and meetings with partner agencies as
- Participates in training and professional development to build knowledge for the
- Performs other duties including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules adherence to attendance policies and other applicable operating rules policies and
- Ability to uphold company principles and practices to the highest degree and represent the agency in a professional
- Provide exceptional customer service for individuals from various backgrounds that includes efficient precise and courteous communication in a dignified

California Drivers License and proof of auto insurance required.

Pay Range: $21.36 $23.68 per hour depending on qualifications and experience. This position is classified as Non-Exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and is eligible for overtime pay in accordance with California and federal law.
