We are hiring a Senior Production Assembly Technician supporting complex electrical electronic and mechanical assembly operations in a production manufacturing environment. This role performs assembly inspection rework repair modification machine setup preventive maintenance material receiving inspections documentation and workflow coordination while working under minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Perform complex production assembly operations on electronic electrical and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.
- Inspect assemblies subassemblies parts and incoming materials in accordance with applicable procedures.
- Perform complex rework repair and modification of parts and assemblies.
- Document inspection results and update work status documentation according to established procedures.
- Perform complex machine setup activities using required machine inspection checklists.
- Conduct periodic maintenance on production machines and tooling.
- Assemble prepare and deliver production kits.
- Perform receiving and basic inspection procedures for incoming materials.
- Present statistical production and quality data to the team to support analysis and problem resolution.
- Coordinate with management and other departments to establish work priorities maintain workflow and resolve production issues.
- Work independently under minimal supervision while supporting production requirements.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 7 years of related production assembly manufacturing inspection or equivalent work experience.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may include:
- Vocational school or associate degree plus 5 years of related work experience.
- Bachelors degree plus 2 years of related work experience.
- Experience performing electronic electrical and mechanical assembly and subassembly operations.
- Experience performing rework repair and modification of production parts and assemblies.
- Experience conducting inspections and documenting inspection results in accordance with established procedures.
- Experience performing machine setup machine inspections and periodic maintenance on production equipment and tooling.
- Ability to support material receiving kit assembly workflow coordination production status tracking and statistical data reporting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Solder Circuit Boards
- Basic Computer Skills
- Able to read and interpret drawings and work instructions
