Senior Power Distribution Engineer

Join our team as a Senior Design Engineer supporting critical utility distribution projects including storm hardening pole replacement and system upgrades. Primarily remote with limited travel.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Apply technical knowledge to develop and support utility design projects while ensuring compliance with specifications standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with designers drafters clients and internal teams to complete accurate design packages.
• Prepare designs calculations drawings and technical analyses for projects of varying complexity.
• Support project coordination by communicating scope cost schedule and quality considerations.
• Review and ensure work products meet company and client procedures including quality control and documentation standards.
• Conduct peer reviews perform self-checks and deliver accurate work with minimal errors.
• Interact professionally with clients vendors and stakeholders to understand project requirements.
• Provide guidance to designers and drafters and support team collaboration.
• Perform field visits and other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in engineering from ABET accredited university
• 3 years of relevant work experience in electrical distribution
• Knowledge of softwares BOUD Maximo
• Strong work ethic with desire to work in a production environment

• The specific amount within this range will be influenced by the work location and various factors such as internal equity professional skills work experience and pertinent education or training.
